Appalachian and Pacific Crest Trail Weather

The purpose of this website is simple: to provide AT and PCT hikers with a reliable and easy way to obtain weather for their location. Simply pick your trail, state and location from the lists below and the National Weather Service (NOAA) forecast for that location will appear.

4/19/19 5:45 PM EST - In the wake of the significant weather that came through NC/TN/VA today, expect a drying trend overnight tonight after one more narrow line of heavy rain passes through over the next couple of hours. Expect mostly light showers to re-develop on Saturday in the NC mountains with the passage of a cold front. This cold front will drop temperatures low enough for snow flurries Saturday night into Sunday morning, with small accumulations of around an inch above 5,000 feet or so. Nice weather builds in later Sunday on through the first half of the week. Thanks as always for using AT Weather!
